UPGRADES
UPGRADED SERVO AMPS
The older PWM servo amp modules can be upgraded to newer GTK or other brand amps.
The first GTK amps had a whistle, switching in the audible range. They were not protected from a short circuit to ground.
Newer PWM amps are higher frequency, inaudible, are short circuit to ground protected, and have status lights for a fault.
MODIFICATIONS
Controller retrofits, software version changes, USB floppy emulators, solid state hard drives,
variable speed spindle drives, motor substitution, encoder substitution,
moving vacuum brushes, RS-232 communication.
