Kennard Engineering, Inc. (1979-2000) started with the model 414, a 5 spindle router in 1980. Originally it was equipped with the Tera 4031 controller. Machines were sold as an Excellon distributed product with the CNC-6 control. When the Excellon association ended temporarily the Lexica CX-9000 control and the CX-9010 were introduced. Excellon bought the product line and produced machines with the Lexica controls.
